Dear Friends,Your continued support of the Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Germany is much appreciated.There are still refugees coming into Western Europe as the situation in Ukraine is not improving, and the frustration among the Ukrainians is growing every day. At this point HVHelpsRefugees is assisting organizations in Poland and Germany, the Ukrainian Church’s Hilfe program in Berlin, and an IDP organization in Lviv, Ukraine.These organizations have all been visited and approved by us.Around 400 children are part of these groups. As we get closer to our Christmas, I will be doing "Santa duties” in the NE USA to raise money for Paddington Bear books (written in Ukrainian) to be sent to these children for their Christmas, 2024. Since the Ukrainian Church is now independent from the Russian Orthodox Church they will, for the first time, celebrate Christmas on Dec 25 as well as on Jan 7th, 2024.Incidentally, President V.
